About this range

Wheel Aligners at Pomphrey

Hofmann alignment systems, including the Megalign and Megaline ranges, for workshops taking alignment seriously enough to charge for it.

Alignment is one of the few pieces of workshop equipment that pays for itself out of work you are already turning away. A car that pulls, wears a shoulder off a tyre or has been through a pothole is an alignment job, and without the equipment it goes down the road. With it, every set of tyres you fit is a check you can charge for.

The equipment only works if it is installed against a properly prepared surface, and on a four-post lift or an alignment pit rather than an afterthought, which is the part most people underestimate. We look at the bay before we quote, install and commission the system, and calibrate and service it afterwards.

Wheel Aligners — questions we get asked

Is alignment equipment worth it for a small workshop?

It pays for itself out of work you are already turning away. Every set of tyres you fit is a check you can charge for, and cars that pull or wear a shoulder off a tyre currently go down the road.

What does it need to be installed on?

A properly prepared, level surface, and a four-post lift or an alignment pit rather than an afterthought. That is the part most people underestimate, so we look at the bay before quoting.

Does it need calibrating?

Yes, and it stays on our service run afterwards along with the rest of the equipment we supply.

Can it be used on commercial vehicles?

Depends on the system and the lift under it. Tell us what comes through the door and we will tell you what will cover it.
